Article Review and Critique (20%), due May 6th
You will select a recent short Communication Research Article (2-4 pages) published in the last 2 years (2020-2021) from a reputable journal that has to do with Biochemistry. You will write and submit a review of the article specifically touching on 5 key areas:
I. The Hypothesis of the Paper 20%
II. The Methods Used 25%
III. The Results that support/refute the Hypothesis 25%
IV. The Impact/Limitations 20%
V. Future Work 10%
You should be doing the work to summarize and synthesize each section *Do not simply copy from the text*. For instance, for the Methods section; explain what techniques and why they were used over other comparable techniques. For the results section, make explicit mention to the hypothesis you defined, do not simply copy and-paste what the authors wrote. Think of your own limitations; what did the authors do wrong, did they state anything that was incorrect, what impact would this research have on your life or your community. For future work, propose something novel. This is what it means to review an article: think about what made it work and what could have made it better for you, the reader.
Your review is limited at most to 2 pages in length (10pt font)(Margins 0.5”)
