1. I would like you to do a search on Dr. Samuel Proctor. He was an engaging Florida historian who specialized in oral history. He was the official Dean of Florida history for many years. His enthusiasm and knowledge was shared by many. I would like you to do a search for this great oral historian, visit some sites that you find, and then write a 100-word summary of the perception of Dr. Proctor that you gained from the articles and anything that you might have picked up regarding Proctor’s attitude toward Florida history. You might also look and even listen to some of the oral history that was created by him. You can also go to the site listed below and get a good understanding of Dr. Proctor. When you go to the site you will see many of the ongoing projects and background information on the oral history program.
