and survival. UNESCO, the World Resources Institute (WRI) and IUCN have
published in 2021 the report “World Heritage forests: Carbon sinks under
pressure” to present recent knowledge on climate benefits and impacts for the
World Heritage forests. Prepare a summary text of the report supported by
selected figures, images and tables where necessary. The focus should be mostly
on the threats posed to forests by climate change and the pathways for
