1) Create a 10 slide powerpoint presentation. (Cover Page, Table of Contents, 7 topic slides, and a reference page). Please Note: The 2 final pages of your topic slides should be – Why you chose this topic to write about and – Your opinion on the topic.
2) Each topic slide should have no less than 12 lines of text. The topic slides should have a 1 inch margin on all sides. Your font size should be no larger than 14 pitch. You may have a few small pictures for emphasis on 3 of the 7 topic slide pages. I am not going to read or consider any pages that have large pictures and only a few lines of text that only takes up about 1/2 of a page.
3) You should choose a topic in political science. Send me your chosen topic immediately so that I can give you the go ahead to start your assignment. You can choose any topic in political science — such as: What is happening with abortion rights today; is the republican party in crisis or chaos mode today?; should marjuaina be legalized in all 50 states?; is our democracy in the United States being threatened?; Are reparations a realistic goal for African Americans?; or any other political topic that you choose to research and make a presentation on.
I suggest that all of you do this assignment and do your very best on it so that you can boost your grade. If you do the assignment and how well you do it is going to be up to you. I will deduct points if the guidelines are not followed.
