Based on this scenario, recommend a resolution that would resolve this issue and assist the team to move forward in a positive manner.

This week, you will be resolving a case study/scenario and writing a narrative to describe your recommendation. Consider the questions posed for the case study/scenario and apply strategies and factors of follower and leader competency in interdisciplinary team function. Incorporate the information, strategies, and factors you have discovered in your resolution narrative.
You are the new chief nursing officer (CNO) for a rural acute-care facility. The chief executive officer (CEO) has asked you to chair an interdisciplinary team to investigate and advise if the facility should seek Magnet Status certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. The interdisciplinary team includes the chief financial officer, the chief of medical staff, a nurse manager, a licensed practical nurse, the director of human resources, a physical therapist, and a registered nurse assistant manager from the Emergency Department.
You have only worked with the team members a short time. You are told by the nurse manager that the chief financial officer (CFO) is very pushy and has made it known that they do not support consideration of seeking Magnet Status due to the increased cost to the facility. The CFO has made most team members wish the CFO would resign from the team. The Chief of Medical Staff is new to the appointment and has a reputation for being quiet and passive. The other members of the team have a lot of experience at the facility and have lived in this rural community for many years. The first meeting is scheduled for next week, and you have only been in your new position for one month.
Based on this scenario, recommend a resolution that would resolve this issue and assist the team to move forward in a positive manner. Be sure to address these questions:
What information do you need to consider?
What type of team leadership style do you plan to implement, and how might this impact decisions you now need to make.
What additional information about the team members might you ask for from the nurse manager?
Considering the barriers and strategies to address, how might you build team cohesiveness?
Length: Compose a 3 page narrative describing resolution and recommendation of the case study/scenario.
References: Include a minimum of 4 scholarly resources
Your narrative should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts presented in the course and provide new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic. Your response should reflect scholarly writing and current APA standards.
